Tyani: A Modern Script Font That Elevates Your Brand

It was a rainy Tuesday morning—coffee in hand, label mockups open on my laptop—and I realized something wasn’t landing. My small-batch candle business had grown from local markets to online orders, but the packaging still felt… soft around the edges. The handwritten font I’d been using for jar labels looked charming at first, but now it read as inconsistent, hard to scan, and oddly fragile next to the clean lines of my new minimalist boxes. I needed a script font that felt intentional—not just pretty, but purposeful. That’s when I found Tyani.

Tyani is a script typeface with a simple, modern look—elegant without being fussy, fluid without sacrificing clarity. It’s not overly ornate or calligraphic, and it doesn’t try too hard. Instead, Tyani balances graceful curves with confident structure, giving it a luxurious yet approachable personality. Think of it as the kind of font you’d trust to introduce a boutique skincare line, headline a café menu, or sign off a beautifully printed thank-you card. It’s warm, refined, and quietly confident—the visual equivalent of a well-tailored blazer.

What made Tyani the right fit wasn’t just how it looked—it was how it worked. As a small business owner, I don’t have a design team on retainer. I need fonts that are plug-and-play: easy to install, intuitive to use in Canva or Illustrator, and versatile enough to carry across everything—from Instagram story templates to product stickers. Tyani delivers exactly that. Its clean letterforms hold up beautifully at small sizes (like 8pt on a candle jar label), stay legible on mobile screens, and scale elegantly for website banners or printed flyers.

I started using Tyani everywhere—thoughtfully, not everywhere. It shines best as a display font: for logos, packaging titles, social media headers, and short quotes on product tags or greeting cards. I used it for my candle names (“Hearth,” “Linen & Light,” “Amber Hour”) on matte black jars, and suddenly each product felt like part of a cohesive collection—not just a set of scents, but a story. Tyani also elevated my café-style menu board (yes, I added one for weekend pop-ups!), turning simple drink listings into moments of quiet sophistication.

Consistency became effortless. Before Tyani, I’d mix three different fonts trying to get “that vibe”—a serif for headings, a sans serif for body text, and some shaky handwriting for accents. Now, Tyani anchors the brand voice, while pairing cleanly with a neutral sans serif (I use Montserrat Light for body copy and captions). That pairing gives me contrast without clutter: Tyani brings warmth and character; Montserrat offers clarity and calm. No overthinking. Just harmony.

And yes—I checked the details before committing. Tyani comes through Script Amp, which means it’s built for real-world use: full OpenType features, standard and alternate glyphs, ligatures for smoother connections, and multilingual support (handy since a few wholesale partners are based in Canada and Australia). It includes both OTF and TTF files, so whether I’m designing in Adobe apps or building Shopify banners, it works. Most importantly, it’s a fully licensed commercial font, so I can use it on physical products, digital ads, client-facing templates, and even downloadable brand kits—no licensing surprises down the road.

Typography isn’t just decoration. It’s your brand’s first handshake with a customer. When someone sees your logo on a tote bag, reads your quote on an Instagram post, or spots your name on a bakery box—they’re absorbing tone, care, and intention before they even read a word. Tyani helped me communicate that intention clearly. It didn’t make my candles smell better—but it made them feel more *considered*. More memorable. More like something someone would choose again, recommend to a friend, or photograph and share.

Real talk: I didn’t expect a font to change how I felt about my own business. But Tyani did. It gave me confidence in the details—the tiny things I used to overlook, like the spacing between letters on a sticker or the rhythm of a product title on a website banner. Suddenly, those weren’t afterthoughts. They were part of the experience. And customers noticed. Not in big dramatic ways—no one emailed saying “your font is amazing!”—but in quieter signals: longer time-on-page, more saves on Instagram posts, repeat orders with notes like “love the packaging.”

If you’re updating your brand visuals—even just one piece at a time—start with what people see first. Your logo. Your product name. Your welcome message. Tyani works beautifully there. It’s not a “fix-all” font, and it’s not meant for long paragraphs or dense web copy. But as a script font for expressive, high-impact moments? It’s thoughtful, reliable, and deeply human. Whether you're printing tea towel tags, designing a boutique clothing hang tag, refreshing your coaching brand’s email headers, or building a cohesive set of social media graphics, Tyani adds polish without pretension.

And here’s the best part: it feels like *you*. Not a trend. Not a template. Just your voice—refined, elevated, and ready to be seen.
